Sonoma Recovery Services, LLC provides high-quality residential chemical dependency services to adult men and women. The overarching goal of the program is to assist residents in attaining and maintaining a life free from chemical dependency. Sonoma Recovery Services, LLC is an At-Will employer. Available Shift Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities and Vehicle Fleet, the Repairs and Maintenance Staff is responsible for the overall maintenance of the facility and adjacent grounds. This includes assuring that the grounds and facility are always kept clean, maintaining fencing, maintaining animal pens, and assuring the irrigation system is operational. The Repair and Maintenance Staff also acts in the place of the housekeeping assistant when they are not available or scheduled to work. The Repairs and Maintenance Staff may also be assigned specific housekeeping-related duties (e.g., assisting in the kitchen) as part of their employment. Essential Job Duties Provide daily services to the exterior of the facility including assuring that common areas are clean and tidy, garbage’s emptied, and the dumpster area is adequately maintained and put out on service days. Assure that all cleaning-related responsibilities are in compliance with Universal Precautions, wearing proper protective gear when required. Maintain facilities and grounds including but not limited to, painting, leaf blowing, pressure washing, fence repair, and gutter cleaning. Report any areas that may be in need of repair and assure that the grounds are safe for residents and visitors. Protect the rights of the individuals being served and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide for the overall safety of the individuals in the program by monitoring behavior and self-report that indicate a medical or psychiatric concern. Develop resources as necessary for the overall operations of the program. Assure that all services are provided in a culturally competent manner. Feed animals and maintain, all animal pens. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Essential Functions/Physical Requirements The position of Repairs and Maintenance Staff must have experience with repairs and maintenance and universal precautions. The job requires a person to be able to: Lift Up to 20 lbs. frequently Up to and over 70 lbs. occasionally Push/Pull: Up to 20 lbs. frequently Up to and over 70 lbs. occasionally Stand frequently Walk frequently Bend frequently Squat often Kneel often Twist/Turn often Reach over the shoulder often Climb occasionally Position Qualifications Knowledge of the effects of drugs of abuse including intoxication and detox symptoms Ability to physically assist individuals served in crisis situations Experience with repairs and maintenance and universal precautions.
