Duties Conduct research and gather information for news stories Attend events, press conferences, and interviews to gather information and quotes Write and edit news articles, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to journalistic standards Collaborate with Publisher and other reporters to develop story ideas and angles Use social media platforms to promote news articles and engage with readers Proofread and copy edit articles for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style Skills: Strong writing and communication skills Strong research and investigative abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to changing news priorities Proficiency in copywriting, social media management, proofreading, and copy editing This position requires a passion for journalism and a commitment to delivering accurate and engaging news stories.
