La Clinica del Pueblo Job Description Job Title: Research Assistant (RA) Department: Patient Services Supervisor: Chief Health Officer Location: The position is located in Washington DC Classification: Exempt/Salaried La Clinica del Pueblo is working with the Department of Epidemiology in the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University (GWU) to assist the department in conducting an NIH-funded study, the DC Cohort, a longitudinal multi-site study of people with HIV. LCDP is seeking a Research Assistant (RA) to assist in the conduct of this study including assisting with participant recruitment and data capture and assisting the Site Principal Investigator and LCDP research team with the overall implementation, coordination and management. Responsibilities Include: Assisting the site Principal Investigator and research team with day-to-day study coordination and management Assisting with identifying potential participants, and recruit and retain participants for both studies Collaborate with the GWU research team to field technical and non-technical requests/problems and facilitate resolutions Perform regular data quality checks and ensure protocol compliance and assist in technical issues Maintain all site-specific study documents, including informed consent forms, regulatory binders and other relevant study materials Perform other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. Desired Qualifications: Strong data management and computer skills Experience working with research databases like Microsoft Excel, REDCap, and ACCESS Experience working with patients and/or research participants Experience with the clinical aspects of HIV disease or conduct of HIV research Strong organizational skills Ability to master Android and iOS mobile platforms Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and work independently Detail oriented
