JOB SUMMARY Plans, coordinates, directs, and participates in work of smaller research project or major unit of large research project in field of specialization for which incumbent is particularly qualified in terms of extensive training and/or experience. The Biochemistry Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Core is seeking a Research Scientist. Our main focus is to support the research of the chemists in the Department, and our instrumentation and setup are geared towards the elucidation of small molecules with relatively short but frequent runs. The Biochemistry NMR Core is a 24/7, open access facility where, after receiving the required training, users generally operate the instruments themselves and run their own samples.
