Research Specialist

A company is looking for a Research Specialist who will provide extensive legal and non-legal research support. Key Responsibilities Conduct extensive legal, business, and general research using various databases and resources Perform electronic current awareness and provide client development research support Participate in special projects and provide training on research resources to staff Required Qualifications Master's Degree in library/information science from an ALA accredited school Three or more years of relevant law firm or corporate research experience Preferred experience in Intellectual Property research Working knowledge of legal and business databases such as Lexis, Westlaw, and Bloomberg Law High level of initiative and ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
