Job Description

We are seeking compassionate, service-driven Resident Services Coordinators to support residents in Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programs under the direction of the PSH Director. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with people, connecting residents to vital resources, and creating a positive, supportive living environment. Position Summary The Resident Services Coordinator plays a key role in supporting residents by assessing needs, coordinating services, fostering community engagement, and helping individuals maintain stable housing. The ideal candidate is empathetic, organized, collaborative, and committed to making a meaningful difference. Key Responsibilities Conduct resident assessments and identify supportive service needs Facilitate community meetings and resident engagement activities Connect residents with community resources and entitlement programs Develop and coordinate onsite programs and workshops Build partnerships with local service providers and organizations Track resident progress, maintain documentation, and ensure reporting compliance Support conflict resolution and crisis intervention as needed Organize social, wellness, and recreational activities Foster positive relationships with residents, staff, and community partners Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, or related field preferred OR minimum 2 years of experience in social services, case management, or community development OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Preferred Experience Experience working with seniors, mental health, homeless, or substance use disorder populations Knowledge of Los Angeles County resources and federal/state entitlement programs Experience with Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), Harm Reduction, Housing First, and G.I.R.P documentation Familiarity with HMIS, ICMS, or Champ systems preferred Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with diverse populations Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088\_EEOC\_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp\_%20English\_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
