Job Summary The Resident Property Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of residential properties. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage tenant relations, property maintenance, and leasing activities while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset, contributing to the overall success of the property management team. THIS IS A LIVE ON SITE POSITION. Duties Manage day-to-day operations of residential properties, ensuring high standards of service and maintenance performing light maintenance and regular cleaning of common areas Oversee tenant relations, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts in a timely and professional manner. Facilitate property leasing processes, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law. Maintain accurate records related to property management activities, including data entry and filing and working with the central office Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess maintenance needs and coordinate repairs through facilities management. Develop and implement strategies for upselling additional services or amenities to enhance tenant satisfaction. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure competitive pricing and quality service delivery. Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, fostering positive relationships that encourage lease renewals. Experience Candidates should possess a combination of the following skills and experiences: Previous experience in property management or real estate administration. Strong understanding of conflict management techniques. Proficient in customer relationship management practices. Experience with legal administrative tasks related to property leasing and contracts. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Ability to perform administrative tasks efficiently, including data entry and filing. Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus. Background in sales or upselling techniques is advantageous.
