Resident Transport Driver - Per Diem WeCare Centers is actively seeking a per diem , Transport Driver, for our communities in Southwestern PA! As a Driver, you are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for our residents, families and co-workers. Shifts available on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities Cover a region extending from Waynesburg, PA up to the South Hills and into Pittsburgh. Report all pertinent information concerning resident care as detected to appropriate personnel. Drive facility provided vehicle. Transport residents, staff and volunteers to desired destinations. Review daily rehabilitation schedule and be available as indicated. Provide minimal assist of residents transferring to and from wheelchairs. Ensures a safe environment Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Maintain positive, professional interaction with residents and staff. Graduate of an accredited high school or GED. Valid, unencumbered state drivers license. 1-2 years transportation experience preferred. Previous long term care experience. Must have experience transporting and transferring residents with physical impairments using facility equipment.
