A Residential Mentor is a vital member of the Evangelhouse Christian Academy team, responsible for overseeing student life within the dormitory at our therapeutic boarding school for young women grades 6 th - 12 th.This role fosters a supportive, clinical environment, guiding students in interpersonal skills, life skills, and relationship boundaries while maintaining dorm order and a positive peer culture.Key Responsibilities:Dormitory Oversight:Maintain the established schedule, supervise daily routines (e.g., light cleaning, basic cooking), and ensure a structured, encouraging atmosphere.Student Development:Motivation, desire and natural gifting to work with adolescents.Ability to teach practical life skills, facilitate teachable moments, and support students in making choices that promote a positive peer culture.Behavioral Guidance:Model a healthy behavior choices, monitor and document student behavior, address medical or emotional needs per program protocols.Family Coordination:Communicate with families as outlined by the program, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.Activity Leadership:Lead group activities, foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution among students.Work in a faith-centered, mission-driven environment.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:$17.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s):What experience do you have working with adolescents in therapeutic, residential, or structured environments?
