Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and power tools with precision and efficiency Inspect work areas regularly to identify imperfections or touch-up needs and correct them promptly Follow blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate painting schedules with other trades such as carpentry or drywall installation Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials Assist with surface repairs including plastering, caulking, or minor drywall work as needed for seamless finishes Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and ladders for efficient surface preparation and application Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings relevant to residential projects Knowledge of construction management principles and construction site safety standards Familiarity with construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines Skills in related trades such as carpentry, drywall finishing, flooring installation, tile laying or masonry are a plus Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for exterior or large-scale projects Strong understanding of building codes and inspection requirements for residential properties We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering exceptional results.
