Position Overview We are hiring a full-time Painting Technician / Painter Helper to support daily prep, protection, basic painting and fine-finish operations. No prior painting experience is required. We provide complete training on all systems, standards and equipment. We value attitude, communication, responsibility and willingness to learn above everything else. Key Responsibilities Prep & Protection Masking, covering and protecting surfaces (floors, cabinets, windows, furniture) Setting up clean, organized job sites Proper use of tape, paper, plastic and protective materials Surface Preparation Manual and orbital sanding Patching and surface repair Caulking and sealing gaps Cleaning and preparing surfaces before painting Painting Tasks Rolling and brushing walls and ceilings Assisting with fine-finish spray work (training provided) Cleaning tools and equipment at the end of each day Professional Conduct Maintain a clean and professional appearance Communicate respectfully with homeowners Follow all company safety and quality procedures Requirements Must-Have Valid driver’s license Reliable car Ability to communicate in English with homeowners Authorization to work in the United States Punctuality, reliability and strong work ethic Presentable and professional appearance Willingness to learn and follow direction Nice-to-Have (Not Required) Experience in painting, construction or general labor Experience with sanding, masking, prep or spray tools Work Schedule Full-time: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch) Work across Eastern and Central Massachusetts Direct travel to job sites (no shop meet-up) Compensation & Benefits Starting wage: $19.00 per hour Weekly pay Paid training on: Prep and protection Cabinet and trim spray finishing Fine-finish techniques Opportunity for career growth toward Lead Painter Occasional performance-based bonuses Respectful, positive and professional work environment Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits On-the-job training Tools provided Language: English (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
