Residential Project Manager – High-End Residential ConstructionCG&S Design-Build | Austin, TX CG&S Design-Build is hiring an experienced Residential Project Manager to lead high-end remodeling, additions, and custom residential projects throughout the Austin area. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in residential construction, values strong communication and organization, and takes pride in delivering exceptional projects and client experiences. Our projects are highly detailed, design-focused, and relationship-driven. We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead projects, coordinate teams, manage client expectations, and help drive successful project outcomes in collaboration with Superintendents and field teams. What You’ll Do Lead residential construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Own the overall client experience throughout the construction process Manage project budgets, financial performance, change orders, and project forecasting Develop and maintain master project schedules and milestone planning Collaborate closely with Superintendents to support successful field execution Coordinate with clients, architects, designers, trade partners, and internal teams Maintain proactive communication regarding project progress, expectations, and strategic decisions Identify and solve project risks before they impact schedule, budget, or client experience Support procurement planning, project logistics, and long-term coordination efforts Maintain accountability for overall project success, communication, and delivery Who Succeeds Here People who succeed at CG&S are: Organized and accountable Calm under pressure Strong communicators Solutions-focused Team-oriented Confident without ego Able to balance client service with construction execution Comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment Qualifications 7+ years of residential remodeling, renovation, or custom home construction experience Strong understanding of residential construction methods, sequencing, and project management Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client communication Knowledge of framing, permitting, field operations, and residential construction processes Strong computer and technology skills Experience with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Buildertrend is a plus Ability to read plans, coordinate details, and manage project expectations effectively Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Compensation & Benefits $90,000 – $120,000+ depending on experience Performance and growth opportunities Cell phone and mobile internet allowance 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Strong team culture and leadership support Our Leadership Philosophy Our company runs on EOS.
