Job Summary We are currently scheduling interviews this week Pay:$16-$18 per hour (Depending on experience)Schedule:Swing Shift (2:45 PM - 11:00 PM) Our block schedule allows for longer stretches of days off, which helps reduce commuting days for staff.We are also open to discussing part-time availability outside of the block schedule.Evening / Swing Block Schedule - 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM Option A:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday rotating Saturdays Option B:Wednesday, Thursday, Friday rotating Saturdays Kolob Canyon is a residential treatment center for teenage girls ages 14-17, located just outside Cedar City.As a small program with 12-16 students, we are able to create a close-knit community where staff have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a real impact in each student's life.Staff work closely with students through mentorship, outdoor activities, and experiential programming.The primary responsibility of this role is to build professional, supportive relationships with students that encourage positive life choices within a structured residential setting.Our mentors support students through challenges, celebrate their successes, and acknowledge their growth along the way.The staff who thrive in this role are individuals who can balance compassion with clear boundaries, remain calm and solution-focused during difficult moments, and work collaboratively with their team.We look for people who are dependable, socially aware, eager to learn, and humble enough to treat others with respect while continuing to grow themselves.Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to pass a background check Experience working with adolescents, children, or families is preferred Must have the physical ability to perform the duties of the position Participate in and help lead and supervise outdoor activities Ability to complete required trainings and employee documentation in a timely manner Ability to attend weekly staff meetings on Mondays at 2:00 PM (major holidays excluded) The successful candidate will demonstrate:Open and direct communication skills Dependability and reliability Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Patience and compassion when working with adolescents Effective organization and time management Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills The ability to set clear, consistent limits with adolescents while maintaining supportive relationships Benefits include:$300 sign-on bonus after 90 days Free meals and snacks while on shift Health, dental, PTO, and 401k benefits become available with full time employment This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to support youth development through active engagement, teaching, and mentorship.Join us in creating a positive impact every evening by fostering growth, safety, and hope for young lives!
