Position Details: Hourly Base Rate: $36.56 - $46.54 Shift: Night shifts Hours Per Week: 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts SEIU Local 49 represented position Date Posted: 2/13/26 Job Summary: Assesses patients' respiratory status. Applies and evaluates appropriate therapy. Performs all respiratory therapy procedures for patients according to medical prescription and departmental policies, procedures and protocols. Instructs/teaches patients about therapy prescribed for them. Operates, cleans and maintains electrical, pneumatic and manual equipment used for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory care patients. Shares patient care information with nursing, physicians and others involved in the care of patients. Assists with department research associated with quality assurance and performance improvement efforts. Educational/Licensing: Current Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner license. Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care. Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC). BLS required. ACLS & PALS required within 3 months of hire; NRP required within 6 months of hire.
