Submit your application for the opportunity below: Respiratory Therapy Charge Lead Job Summary and Qualifications The charge therapist demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the care of his/her patients, and act as a resource to RCPs on duty. Responds to all rapid response calls/codes as the first responder for intubation Improves patient outcome through daily review and performance of protocols and staff productivity The charge therapist performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice, proven competencies, and functions in congruence with the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at Riverside Community Hospital (RCH) The charge therapist role incorporates RCP position as above and includes the additional responsibilities of directing shift operation with assignments, performance improvement and coordination of resources. Ability to detect problems, investigate and resolve them within the scope of the position is paramount for the role Knowledge of Core Measures and working with other staff to implement the core measures for patient quality and safety are requirements of this position.
