Shift: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM Experience: 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. Experience with Cerner is preferred. Requirements: Candidates must have a license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Local & travel allowed. 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health. 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health. Additional Details: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: Adult ICU work setting required. Respiratory care skills required: airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP. Preferred Skills/Experience: Trauma, teaching hospital, and ER work setting experience preferred. Bronchoscope experience preferred. Experience with Hamilton G5, Hamilton C1, and Philips V60 preferred. Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Education must be in-person, accredited by CoARC, and regionally accredited through CHEA. Special Requests: Local travelers accepted for allied positions; Indiana residents are considered local. IU Health will not allow Indiana RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS. Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. General care and adult intensive care. Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Cannot work more than 5 days in a row. Holidays are typically rotated. Every other weekend. 5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027.
