Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires effective leadership skills and the ability to manage kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met while fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Manage kitchen staff and front-of-house team, providing leadership and training as needed. Implement and maintain food safety protocols and standards in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Conduct interviews and hire new staff, ensuring the right fit for our restaurant culture. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to maintain operational efficiency. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction. Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance profitability. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices, including food handling and safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in culinary arts is a plus, enhancing collaboration with kitchen staff. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with both staff and customers. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in interviewing and training staff is highly desirable.
