Restaurant General Manager - Staten Island, New York Position Summary The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of operations, driving financial performance, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a high-volume dining environment. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can build strong teams, maintain operational excellence, and consistently achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities Oversee all front- and back-of-house operations, ensuring seamless execution of service and kitchen performance Lead, mentor, and develop a management team and hourly staff to build a high-performing, guest-focused culture Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective P&L management, cost controls, and sales initiatives Ensure an outstanding guest experience by maintaining high service standards and resolving concerns promptly Monitor labor, food, and beverage costs to meet or exceed financial targets Implement and maintain operational systems, policies, and procedures Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management for all team members Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations Analyze key performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve results Collaborate with ownership or senior leadership on business planning and execution Qualifications: 5+ years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years in a General Manager role Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and controlling costs Proven ability to lead and develop large teams in a high-volume setting Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of food safety standards and local health regulations Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays</
