Join our team as a Restaurant General Manager at Cypress Beach House, located at Inn at the Pier Pismo Beach, Hilton Curio Collection! Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for delivering exceptional restaurant experiences? As our Restaurant General Manager , you’ll oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, from leading and inspiring your team to ensuring outstanding guest service and driving profitability. This role is ideal for a results-driven manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to building a welcoming atmosphere where both guests and team members can succeed. Salary: $85,000 - $95,000/year Your Role As the Restaurant General Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and bar. Your responsibilities will include: Lead and support the F&B team, providing guidance and fostering a positive work environment. Ensure efficient and effective operation of all restaurant outlets, maintaining high standards of service. Monitor and manage inventory, cost control, purchasing, and budgeting to optimize profitability. Develop and implement promotional and marketing strategies to drive sales and attract guests. Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update menus, considering cost, pricing, and guest preferences. Oversee staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high service standards. Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and care. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations. Prepare and manage schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and smooth operation during peak times. Participate in financial reporting, including payroll, purchasing, and expense tracking. Ensure departmental training and reporting is completed as scheduled. Participate in required M.O.D. program as scheduled. Other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of progressive leadership experience in a restaurant setting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 to 4-year college degree is preferred. Unexpired Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certifications. Must be proficient with POS and Windows operating systems.
