Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Restaurant Host/Hostess to create a welcoming environment for our guests.The ideal candidate will manage reservations, greet guests with excellent hospitality, and ensure smooth seating operations.This role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting the overall efficiency of our restaurant.Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and guest relations skills.Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently Maintain a clean and organized host stand area Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and restaurant policies Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and provide accurate information Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously to enhance guest satisfaction Support overall guest relations by providing excellent customer service throughout their visit Requirements Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or hotel guest services is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and demeanor with good phone etiquette Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing outstanding guest experiences through exceptional hospitality.Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $15.00 per hour Expected hours:10 - 20 per week Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location:In person.
