REPORTS TO:Restaurant Supervisor ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The following duties are essential to the role; additional tasks may be assigned as needed.Manage dining reservations and arrange special services or group accommodations, communicating professionally and courteously.Ensure menus are up to date, clean, wrinkle-free, and readily available.Greet guests promptly at the ma tre d' stand, escort them to their table, and provide menus, ensuring the table is properly set before seating.Confirm place settings are complete, including clean silverware, napkins, and other standard dining essentials.Notify the assigned server once guests have been seated in their section.Follow opening procedures each morning and maintain a clean, organized work area for the next shift.Handle guest complaints with professionalism, patience, and respect, escalating issues to a supervisor when necessary.Oversee dining room operations to ensure efficient service, update seating charts, maintain server rotation schedules, and rearrange tables and seating as needed for special accommodations.Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors.Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $16.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
