Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management to ensure smooth daily functions. Lead staff training and development initiatives to uphold service excellence, food safety, and cleanliness standards. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency across all menu items. Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and manage ordering processes using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize food costs. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports. Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to promote teamwork, efficiency, and high morale. Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and food handling procedures in accordance with industry best practices. Support marketing efforts by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews. Skills Proven experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food service management and hospitality management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for order processing and sales tracking. Demonstrated ability in supervising staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and managing team performance. Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, motivate staff, and foster a positive work environment across casual dining or fine dining settings. Experience in catering, banquet service or bar operations is a plus; hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous.
