Position Description: Position Summary The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in a full-service hotel restaurant. This role ensures guests have a positive dining experience by delivering prompt, courteous, and efficient service while maintaining company standards. Essential Functions Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Serve food and beverages according to standards Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members Follow all food safety and alcohol service guidelines Adhere to company policies, procedures, and brand standards Qualifications Previous serving experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and multitasking ability Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Alcohol service certification preferred (if applicable) Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, and carrying trays Work Environment This position operates in a restaurant environment within a full-service hotel with frequent interaction with guests and team members.
