Full Job Description Portside is an upscale dining restaurant sitting with a bay front view in beautiful Charleston Oregon. We’re now hiring Restaurant Servers, to join our team! Responsibilities: Position Summary: Preparation of service areas and the serving of customers. Reviews specials, reservations, and any menu changes for schedule of daily functions(s). Complete all necessary sidework to include filling and stocking salt/pepper shakers, washing linen, folding silverware, cleaning up service areas, preparing for next shift. Performs both opening and closing procedures. Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be in risk of cross-contamination. Keep compartment sink, side boards, and refrigerators clean and sanitized. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; and Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. Qualifications: Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Food Handler’s Card and OLCC Permit. Must be 18 years or older. Knowledge of food and wine Preferred Qualifications: Previous restaurant serving experience.
