Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards Operate POS systems to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring the dining area is inviting and organized Follow food safety protocols including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure quality and compliance Assist with food prep tasks in the kitchen or caf setting to support smooth operations during busy hours Manage time effectively to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude in a quick service environment Skills Experience in food preparation, food service, or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting Proficiency with POS systems for efficient transaction processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Previous restaurant experience or familiarity with the food industry is highly desirable; retail or grocery store experience is a plus Pay:$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Food provided Work Location:In person.
