Retail Associate - Full Time We are seeking a Retail Associate to join us on a full-time basis in Columbus, OH. The Sales Associate will act as a point of contact for our customers, assisting them while they shop, providing suggestions, and ensuring an enjoyable customer experience. Essential Retail Associate Duties and Responsibilities include: Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering their queries, and addressing their concerns. Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services to meet those needs. Actively engage with customers to promote and sell products or services. Utilize persuasive sales techniques to meet or exceed sales targets. Upsell and cross-sell additional products or services to increase revenue. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products or services being offered. Stay updated on product features, benefits, and pricing to effectively communicate information to customers. Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions. Ensure products are properly displayed and organized on the sales floor. Replenish stock as needed and maintain accurate inventory records. Keep the sales area clean and presentable. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or other electronic systems. Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment securely. Maintain proper cash drawer balances and reconcile sales at the end of the shift. Assist customers with placing orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Coordinate with other departments, such as shipping or inventory, to fulfill orders and resolve any issues that may arise. Retail Associate Skills & Qualifications: No prior experience is required. Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills. Understanding of safety policies and practices. Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally. The Retail Associate must utilize basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
