If you love sunshine, fresh air, and days spent by the water, it's time to bring that energy to Rancho Seco Recreational Area.Nestled in beautiful California, our lake is known for excellent fishing, boating, and laid-back outdoor adventure -- and we're looking for a Retail Associate who's ready to be part of it all.Title:Retail Associate Reports To:Retail Manager Department:Retail Summary of Position:Assist all guests and visitors with timely, efficient, and professional service while upholding Company standards and delivering an extraordinary hospitality experience.Responsibilities:Greet customers within 30 seconds of entering the store and provide friendly, attentive service Maintain strong product knowledge to assist guests with purchasing decisions Guide customers to appropriate merchandise and answer related questions Assist guests with park-related inquiries using approved interpretive information Build customer confidence by offering helpful suggestions and recommendations Accurately process transactions using POS systems, including handling cash and credit/debit payments Restock and maintain merchandise displays in accordance with Company standards Work toward achieving established sales goals Participate in opening and closing procedures Complete daily cleaning and maintenance duties Adhere strictly to all store policies Foster a positive, respectful team environment Understand and support the Company's ISO (Quality and Environmental) management systems, policies, and goals Perform other duties as assigned Position Requirements:Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Energetic, enthusiastic approach to customer service Reliable and punctual attendance Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs.and occasionally up to 50 lbs.Comfortable standing up to 8 hours per day and performing physical tasks including bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting Education & Experience:Education:High school diploma or equivalent Experience:Demonstrated general math skills Minimum 1 year retail sales experience preferred Minimum 1 year experience with POS systems preferred If you're ready to work where others vacation -- surrounded by water, wildlife, and wide-open skies -- we'd love to have you on the team.Compensation:$16.90 per hour.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status and all other status protected by law..
