Job Overview Join our family-owned liquor store, proudly serving our community since 1967.We're a small, independent business that takes pride in providing exceptional customer satisfaction through personalized service, expert recommendations, and a carefully curated selection of wines, spirits, & beers.We're looking for a reliable & friendly team member to help us continue our tradition of excellent customer service Responsibilities Greet customers warmly & provide exceptional customer service during their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for cash transactions & credit card processes Replenish shelves & displays, during idle time, to ensure a clean storefront Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Build a basic knowledge of products, to be equipped in assisting customer queries- especially if desired product is out-of-stock Provide phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Work with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and meet sales goals Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role Basic math skills are necessary for accurate transactions and inventory counts This role offers excellent opportunity to build retail experience, while also making meaningful connections with customers.We strive to support personal growth in a lively & rewarding environment, while also ensuring that our community receives the best possible experience.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:From $12.50 per hour Expected hours:24 - 40 per week Benefits:Employee discount Work Location:In person.
