Job OverviewWe are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Retail Clerk to join our team.The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist with sales transactions, and ensure the store is well-stocked and organized.This role offers an opportunity to develop retail skills in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities that include merchandising, product demonstrations, and maintaining a welcoming shopping experience for all customers.Responsibilities Operate Super Sonic POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately and quickly Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos, and upsell items to enhance sales Maintain proper merchandising of products on shelves and displays to attract customers Stock shelves and organize inventory to ensure products are available and accessible Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns professionally Support store operations through phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries or reservations as needed Supervise or assist in supervising team members when applicable, ensuring smooth store operations Conduct product demonstrations to promote new or featured items effectively Assist in inventory management, including stocking, labeling, and rotating stock as necessary Skills Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions Previous supervising experience is a plus but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse customer base Knowledge of grocery store operations is advantageous Ability to perform upselling techniques to increase sales opportunities Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally Experience with merchandising, stocking, and retail sales processes Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor Pay:$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Work Location:In person.
