At Silver Jeans, we believe that all good jeans have a story to tell-and our story starts in Winnipeg in 1921 at Western Glove Works, a family run business founded by the Silver family.Western Glove Works is now the oldest privately held denim producer in North America.That's over 100 years of craft at your service.Job Summary Reporting to the Retail Merchandise Manager, the Retail Coordinator will be responsible for being a Silver Jeans Co.Brand Ambassador by creating an engaging store experience in line with company directives and standards, delivering product knowledge to store teams, and partnering with the US Sales team in analyzing retail presence and growth potential.RESPONSIBILITIES Build sales and brand presence through improved in-store presentation, partnerships, and sales associate education in assigned doors.Maximize retail presence by negotiating optimal real estate and square footage.Align Silver Jeans Co.on-floor strategies with the retailers to drive profitability of each product segment.Communicate and build relationships with key business partners.Ensure product is optimally placed and merchandised.Communicate with the Regional Merchandiser to share product and store level insights for design, planning, merchandising and sales.Create strategic, profit-oriented solutions using strong analytical and communication skills.Ensure stock replenishment and size integrity on the selling floor.Drive sales plans by door.Deliver & set-up current marketing standards:execute in-store collateral.Educate store personnel on our products and seasonal programs.Support Silver Jeans Co.and JAG sales as needed.Create & send store visit recaps/ location reports.QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of experience in merchandising in a multi-store capacity.Previous experience with merchandising/ visual merchandising.Previous experience with building relationships/ territory contacts.Retail store experience Proven ability to train, motivate, and influence others Travel is required SUCCESS FACTORS Ability to perform multiple tasks.Ability to respect the product and marry it with the numbers.Ability to work without supervision.Strong administrative skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Desire to drive for results Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through Ability to work a flexible schedule.Travel Requirements:This position is based in Atlanta Georgia, however travel across the country, primarily in the eastern United States will be required on a frequent basis.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$55,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year Benefits:401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s):How many years of merchandising experience do you have?
