Job Description
Retail Customization Associate is responsible for operating the engraving equipment to customize Hydro Flask products according to customer or company specifications.This role supports the Business Development Team by providing high-quality engraving services, ensuring accuracy, maintaining equipment, and delivering excellent customer experience during customization requests.Key Responsibilities Operate engraving machines to customize Hydro Flask products with names, logos, or designs as requested.Ensure engraving quality, alignment, and accuracy before finalizing products.Review and confirm engraving instructions prior to production.Prepare items for engraving, including proper positioning and securing of products.Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.Maintain a clean and organized work area around engraving equipment.Coordinate with the Business Development or retail team regarding customer requests and order details.Monitor inventory of engraving supplies and report when restocking is needed.Follow company safety guidelines and operational procedures.Assist with packaging or handoff of completed products as needed.Assist with packing shipment orders to Japan and the U.S.mainland, including online orders and engraved product orders.Support inventory restocking by moving merchandise from storage to retail locations.If qualified and able to drive, assist with transporting and restocking merchandise between storage and the retail shop locations.Provide short coverage periods to assist retail staff (e.g., allowing staff to take meal or restroom breaks) when engraving workload permits.Assist with producing in-house engraved Hydro Flask products featuring original company designs.Perform other duties as assigned by management to support engraving operations and general business needs.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Prior experience with engraving equipment, laser machines, or similar production tools is a plus but not required.Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain precision.Strong attention to detail and quality control.Basic computer skills for inputting engraving designs or operating software.Ability to work independently and manage multiple engraving requests.Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.Ability to perform repetitive hand movements while operating equipment.Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 4-5 hours/shift Part-time schedule based on business needs.Weekend or peak retail hours may be required.Pay:From $16.50 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Ability to commute/relocate:Honolulu, HI 96815:Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
