Description Job Summary (Essential Functions) Oversee retail operations in the Tennis Pro Shop including merchandising, promotions, managing staff, inventory, revenue growth, and member engagement. Meet and exceed retail sales targets. Drive revenue through production selection and promotions. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance. Identify trends and adjust inventory accordingly. Manage ordering, receiving, and stock levels. Maintain appropriate inventory based on season and demand. Track best-selling items and slow-moving products. Conduct regular inventory counts and audits. Create attractive and high-end retail displays. Rotate merchandise regularly to keep the shop fresh. Ensure displays reflect club standards and brand image. Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing space. Develop creative promotion and sales events. Coordinate with Director of Tennis on events, clinics, and tournaments. Introduce seasonal promotions (holiday, tournaments) Increase traffic into the shop. Provide personalized service and product recommendations. Build relationships with members. Requirements: Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations Able to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system. Outstanding customer service skills. Knowledge of racquet sports and fitness preferred. Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
