Chevalier Productions is a full-service music store and event production company dedicated to supporting musicians, artists, venues, schools, and organizations.We have been in the music industry for over 35years and are a small business locally run and owned.Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in retail with a background in music.Our retail side is operated 9-5 Monday-Friday and 10-2 on Saturdays.We provide:Musical instruments and accessories sales Equipment rentals Audio, lighting, and staging services Live event production and technical support Consultation for performances, concerts, and private events Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in selecting instruments and equipment Provide product recommendations based on customer needs Answer questions about gear, rentals, and equipment Process sales using point-of-sale systems Follow up on customer inquiries and special orders Store Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom Restock merchandise and manage inventory Assist with receiving shipments Help coordinate rental equipment check-in and check-out Stay informed about new products and services Company Support Communicate retail opportunities that may connect to our event production services Represent Chevalier Productions professionally at all times Qualifications Required:Strong customer service skills Excellent communication abilities Basic understanding of musical instruments or audio equipment Ability to stand for extended periods Dependable attendance and punctuality Preferred:Retail or sales experience Experience with musical instruments, pro audio, or live sound Familiarity with POS systems Background as a musician or performer Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:$11.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours:35 - 40 per week Benefits:Employee discount Work Location:In person.
