Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Shift Leader to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in retail sales and proven leadership experience. The Shift Leader will support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales performance, and ensure exceptional customer service. This is a part-time position (25-32 hours per week) requiring availability for morning and closing shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Support Lead and motivate team members during assigned shifts Communicate daily goals, promotions, and business priorities to staff Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure strong team performance Foster a positive and productive work environment Customer Service & Sales Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly Assist customers in product selection and purchasing decisions Drive sales through product knowledge and effective upselling techniques Support the team in achieving and exceeding sales targets Operations & Store Management Open and close the store, including register accountability and reporting Operate cash registers and ensure accurate cash handling procedures Support managing the business to meet sales budgets and performance goals Ensure compliance with all company policies and operational procedures Partner with the Store Manager to review sales figures and performance Merchandising & Inventory Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment Ensure proper receiving and tracking of inventory Identify merchandising opportunities and resolve display issues Assist with promotions, product displays, and in-store events Communicate inventory needs (including apparel, headwear, and novelty items) Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience required At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead, motivate, and hold team members accountable Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills Experience operating a cash register/POS system Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proven ability to drive sales and deliver results * Pay Rate: 18.50 per hour + * Bonus Pay: From $18.50 per hour Benefits Employee discount Application Question(s): Are you available to work weekends?
