Overview Retail Stock Associate It is the responsibility of the Retail Stock Associate to receive, check-in, process, and prepare merchandise and operating supplies for the retail space. Responsibilities Greet customers who enter the store in a friendly, upbeat and helpful manner. Be knowledgeable of store product lines, pricing and current inventory. Assist with inventory control. Display merchandise neatly and in proper area, following internal merchandising standards. Accurately price and attach price tags to the merchandise. Communicate with manager regarding inventory and stocking of items. Maintain a professional and neat appearance at all times. Keep store neat, clean and visually appealing at all times by ensuring attractive displays of merchandise and prompt correction of any deficiencies. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Qualifications: Previous experience in retail preferred. Basic math skills. High school education or equivalent.
