Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demonstrations to enhance their experience Maintain visual merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and appealing Stock shelves, manage inventory levels, and perform regular stocking duties to keep the store organized and inviting Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations Communicate effectively with team members and customers using strong phone etiquette and clear communication skills Support the store’s merchandising strategies by promoting featured products and seasonal items Ensure the store environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for all visitors Assist in training new team members or supervising junior staff when needed Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-focused attitude are essential Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role Bilingual skills are a valuable asset for connecting with diverse customer bases Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette help foster positive customer interactions Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately during transactions Join us as a Retail Store Associate to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise.
