Deli Store Associate and Packaging EmployeeJoin our team at Martin Rosol's Meats! We are a fourth-generation family business in New Britain, CT that produces fresh meat products daily.We currently have an opening for managing our Retail Store.This is a stable, full-time, long-term leadership role with predictable scheduling and room to grow.Who This Role Is ForSomeone who takes pride in quality, enjoys leading people, and wants to work in a clean, calm, customer-focused deli every day.Description:Takes customer orders, prepares, slices, weighs, finishes, and prices products Provide excellent customer service & an educational, outstanding customer experience Maintain presentation, safety and cleanliness of the Retail Store Stock and rotate products, ensuring all products are fresh Operate, clean, and reassemble equipment when needed Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting in other departments as needed, such as the Packaging Department Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensures quality standards are followed and maintained.Adhere to HACCP, USDA, and safety regulations, also in compliance with company procedures.Excellent time management skills required.Must be innovative and have the ability to make changes to the operation as needed to further improve the work environment Assists in the development and training of new employees as required.Responsible for adhering to the policies in the employee handbook.Environmental Requirements:Regularly stand, bend, lift, twist, reach, climb, squat, and move intermittently during shifts of 8hours.Must be able to work within coolers, freezers, in and out of cold temperatures.Rooms may have hard or wet surfaces.Must be able to lift, push, pull and move product, equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of sixty pounds.A schedule of over 40 hours per week is typical.Must be available to work on Saturdays.Work Experience:Experience in a high volume, manufacturing, food production, or catering environment preferred.Experience working in a deli, food production, or food preparation preferred.Education & Other Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED preferred.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Paid time off Application Question(s):Do you have any other relevant meat industry or food processing experience? Are you able to work Saturday mornings on occasion from 8am to Noon?
