Cindie's Lafayette is looking for a store manager! Starting pay is $18/hr and is negotiable based on experience! NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE! Retail experience REQUIRED, management experience preferred but not necessary. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:Punctuality and efficient handling of time Ability to provide excellent customer service Ability to maintain a good rapport with customers and employees Ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, HR and upper management Ability to follow all rules, policies and procedures including but not limited to those that are included in both our employee and manager manuals Ability to recruit, hire, train and retain employees Ability to be task oriented and multitask Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and to think outside of the box to problem solve Ability to maintain inventory physically and via our Point of Sale system Ability to maintain an open mind Ability to handle all funds including cash, credit/debit payments, gift cards, etc.effectively and securely Ability to follow merchandising rules and keep the store looking full, well organized, clean and shop-able at all times Ability to create an atmosphere where the customers and employees feel welcome and safe Store hours are Mon-Thurs 10am-10pm, Fri-Sat 10am-Midnight, Sun 11am-10pm. Open availability and reliable transportation are REQUIRED!
