Responsibilities Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance to foster a high-performing team. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Manage inventory control through accurate stock management, purchasing, merchandising, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities. Drive retail sales by implementing effective marketing strategies, promoting products, and providing excellent customer service. Coordinate scheduling and shift management to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak hours for smooth store functioning. Conduct regular audits of sales transactions, bookkeeping records, payroll processing, and POS (Point of Sale) system accuracy. Develop and execute merchandising plans that enhance product visibility and appeal while maintaining pricing strategies aligned with company goals. Foster a positive shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and inviting displays that reflect current marketing initiatives. Utilize strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers for purchasing needs and negotiate favorable terms. Lead training & development initiatives to enhance team skills in retail math, cashiering, customer service etiquette, and wireless or grocery sales if applicable. Requirements Proven management experience in retail environments with supervising responsibilities; assistant manager experience is highly valued. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in inventory management and store presentation. Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping software, and retail math calculations. Exceptional communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, employee orientation, training & development programs. Knowledge of retail sales techniques including pricing strategies, merchandising, marketing initiatives, and promotional planning. Ability to handle payroll processing accurately while managing budgets and store financials confidently. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues promptly. Organizational skills necessary for shift management, inventory control, stock replenishment, and administrative tasks such as phone etiquette and record keeping.
