Revenue Analyst, Bureau of Finance The Revenue Analyst will report to the Assistant Director of State Aide Claiming along with three other Revenue Analysts. Job duties and responsibilities include monitoring and tracking of Mental Hygiene state aid expenditures. This role involves submitting agency's Article 6 claims to state, understanding Public Health Law, regulation, and state guidelines, and ensuring claims are processed efficiently and meet due dates. The Revenue Analyst is responsible for maximizing agency reimbursement, reconciling claims, and ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and City policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 24 credits in accounting, including one course each in advanced accounting, auditing, and cost accounting and four years of satisfactory full-time professional accounting or auditing experience, at least 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial, or executive capacity or supervising a staff performing accounting or auditing work; or A valid New York State Certified Public Accountant license and at least 18 months of satisfactory full-time professional accounting or auditing experience in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity or supervising a staff performing accounting or auditing work.
