Job#: 3031709 Job Description: RF Engineer Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Role Overview This position is for an RF Engineer within a dedicated support team for RF Design. The role involves responsibility for various project-based tasks that are not assigned to a specific geographic area. The work will support the full lifecycle of a project, from initial site review and design through regulatory processes, technical documentation, and final in-service stages. Key Responsibilities Manage project tasks for traditional macro sites, small cells, relocations, temporary sites, and other modification projects. Follow projects through the entire lifecycle, from site review and design to regulatory and technical documentation. Work closely with the Real Estate team and other RF engineers to complete assigned tasks. Perform virtual or remote site reviews, with field visits as required. Adhere to a hybrid work schedule, working in the office on specified days. Required Qualifications General familiarity with the overall cell build process. Knowledge of how to read ZD/CDs. Attention to detail for regulatory and technical documentation. Understanding of basic RF concepts and antenna theory. Knowledge of RF propagation and project management tools. Some completed higher education is required. Preferred Qualifications Recent experience with a telecommunications carrier. Recent experience with tools such as Atoll and Fuze SPM/RFDS/CQ. Knowledge of the Southern CA area. A four-year degree is preferred but not required. Work Environment This role follows a standard 40-hour workweek, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of some overtime. The position requires working from the Irvine office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, in alignment with the team's hybrid schedule. Field visits may be necessary as projects require.
