Title: RF Project Manager – DAS & Small Cell OEM Base Location: Dallas, TX Duration: Long-term Job Summary The RF Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the execution of DAS (Distributed Antenna System) and Small Cell OEM projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, technical accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a solid RF engineering background with hands-on experience in in-building and venue wireless design, and close collaboration with internal teams, external customers, subcontractors, and vendors. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Delivery Organize and oversee execution of project deliverables and key project milestones Ensure internal and external deployment activities meet committed delivery dates Apply project planning fundamentals including initiating, planning, estimating, resourcing, scheduling, and budgeting Monitor project performance and identify leverage points for technical and operational improvement Customer & Stakeholder Management Act as a proactive interface between internal teams and external customers Ensure effective definition and delivery of wireless systems and RF solutions Manage turnkey solutions and ensure customer satisfaction through education and ongoing support Communication & Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for all project communications between engineering teams, OEM partners, customers, and field crews Prepare and deliver clear project status reports, executive summaries, and technical updates to stakeholders at all levels Facilitate regular project meetings, drive issue resolution, and maintain clear action item tracking across cross-functional teams Technical & Engineering Oversight Knowledge of DAS and Small Cell system design, construction, and integration, including passive and active DAS, ODAS/IDAS architectures, and small cell deployment methodologies Review construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications Work on in-building and venue wireless design efforts, including RF propagation analysis, coverage planning, and system layout for stadiums, arenas, hospitals, campuses, and commercial buildings Support site development activities including site walks, drawing reviews/redlines, BOM creation, and site construction oversight Sales & Business Support Assist with sales engineering activities as required Develop strategies to leverage additional markets for telecommunication-related solutions Tools & Documentation Utilize MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, and other project management software for planning, reporting, and documentation General Dues Perform duties customarily associated with this position and other responsibilities as assigned by Client Devote full working time, skill, and effort toward the successful performance of assigned duties and company objectives Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's in electrical engineering, Telecom Engineering or a related field Minimum 2–3 years of solid RF engineering experience, including hands-on understanding of wireless systems, RF propagation, link budgets, and network deployments Proven experience with DAS (passive and active) and Small Cell deployments, including in-building and venue design for environments such as stadiums, arenas, hospitals, and multi-tenant buildings Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications Experience in site development and construction coordination Strong analytical skills for cost estimation and job costing Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools Excellent communication and coordination skills
