Seeking personable, organized, and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join a fun and dynamic team. This is the perfect opportunity to make a transition from high volume to high impact patient care. Integrative, Functional Medicine background a plus! PRISM Spine and Joint sees complex connective tissue disorder patients; many of whom have failed conservative management at other locations before arriving at our practice. We take a collaborative, integrative, team-based approach to patient care. Our team includes Rheumatology, Orthopaedic, Neurologic, Pain Management, and Neuromuscular Medicine physicians (MDs and DO doing allopathic, functional and osteopathic medicine), Physical Therapists, Muscle Activation Specialists, and Certified Athletic Trainers. We are looking for a candidate who can provide some combination of the following (as much training as is needed will be provided): · Initial Intake Visits to diagnose at least some of the following: Rheumatologic Conditions, Sports Medicine/Orthopaedic injuries, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (Currently performed exclusively by Dr. Zingman) · Ongoing care for the above as well as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and other Immune Disorders, Neuro-Inflammation, Dysautonomia/POTS, Chronic Pain (All currently managed by Dr. Ruhoy – non-narcotic, integrative and functional medicine) · Possible participation in infusion center. · Care coordination with a variety of specialists outside of PRISM Minimum Requirements · Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner/Doctorate Level Education with active, unrestricted license in the state of Maryland Preferred: At least one year of Post-Doctorate Experience working as a provider in any one of the following o Rheumatology/PMR o Neurology o Immunology o Rheumatology o Women’s Health Bonus Qualifications · Knowledge of EDS, POTS, MCAS · Integrative/Functional Medicine Training The successful candidate will be very organized, committed to patient care, reliable, motivated, a life-long learner, and have very strong evaluation and management skills, documentation/computer skills. This position involves a clinical environment where patient’s conditions and severity of symptoms vary. We have a strong team dynamic, regular care coordination meetings, and ample support staff. Dr. Zingman currently has over a two and a half year long waiting list, and we hope that with your assistance, we can help many more people with a much shorter waiting period.
