ROLE SUMMARY: The Risk Control Client Experience & Technology Manager is responsible for identifying and implementing operational best practices within the Risk Control Division to ensure a positive “Client Experience”. This will include identifying, developing, deploying and maintaining a variety of software tools accessed by clients and Risk Control teammates. The members of the Risk Control team will also be considered clients, and this position will enhance the performance of the Risk Control Team by automating or offloading administrative tasks from the team in support of the team’s long-term strategic plan. This person will support Risk Control Team Leaders and Risk Control Industry Leaders to have resources, best practices, and enhance collaboration across all offices to support new business and client retention. Once established, to ensure a current knowledge of the operational demands on Risk Control, this position may also be responsible for approximately a 25% client service workload direct to IMA clients. Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supports Risk Control Team by responding to client questions on software tools. Support Risk Control Team Leaders and Risk Control Industry Leaders to increase efficiency and margin through centralized access to tools, resources, marketing tools, and success stories. Interacts professionally with Risk Control Teammates, Market Leaders, Producers and AEs to aid in client retention and garnering new business. Act as a trusted advisor and resource to teams related to gathering, interpreting, and reporting out on data initiatives such as Loss Source Analysis and Safety Perception Surveys. Identify, develop, deploy and maintain technology solutions for Risk Control projects and initiatives as prioritized by Risk Control and Shared Services Leadership. (e.g. workload tracking) Search out and maintain a vendor list of vetted vendors for internal use and referral to clients. Update clients using 3rd party software tools and negotiate renewals based on accurate usage. Act as Liaison to outsourced operational partners, (e.g., ResourcePro and Loss Analysis Tools) and provide recommendations related to process improvements. Manage operational aspects of 3rd party vendor relationships, including agreements, billing, expense reconciliation, legal review, and vendor setup/termination. With minimal guidance, provide leadership to the Project Coordinator and ensure that project visibility is shared with internal customers at least monthly. Deliver Risk Control service to assigned external clients to ensure client retention. Required Experience and Skills: include but are not limited to: Five to ten years of similar or related experience. Strong project management skills. Expert experience with MS Office products required in Excel, PowerBI and other Microsoft Apps and products. Knowledge of agency management systems software, preferably Epic. Moderate amount of travel required (less than 25%). Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
