The 4 HV Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU), located on the 4th floor of the Heart and Vascular Hospital, is a 20-bed critical care unit specializing in the treatment of critically ill cardiac patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced interventions. This unit is ideal for nurses who excel in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment and are passionate about cardiovascular critical care, teamwork, and clinical excellence. 🌟 Unit Overview The 4 HV Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Provides Specialized Critical Care For Adult And Geriatric Patients With Acute And Complex Cardiac Conditions, Including Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) Unstable angina Post non-surgical cardiac procedures Acute coronary syndromes Cardiac arrhythmias and hemodynamic instability Other cardiac conditions requiring intensive-level monitoring and care The CICU serves patients ranging from 18 to over 100 years of age, with a median patient age of 67 years. Nurses on this unit care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, rapid intervention, and multidisciplinary collaboration in a technologically advanced environment.
