Job Description

You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing. Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging RN to join our team. Your primary function is to care for patients preparing for imaging and diagnostic procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. In this role you will: - Administer moderate sedation for CT guided biopsies, drains, etc - Operate Cardiac CTA- administer Nitroglycerin and Metoprolol - Administer Glucagon to CT enterography - Administer Lasix - Place Foley Catheters - Access Port-a-Cath and de-access with Heparin per protocol - Start IV in difficult sticks - Monitor outpatients who have pacemaker or defibrillator Job Requirements: - Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred - Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. - BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start - ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required - 1 year acute care experience required - 1 year critical care experience preferred Benefits HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
