Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel Assignment) Total Gross Pay: $2,110.00 Location: Ochsner Health Center – Baton Rouge 17000 Medical Center Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 Assignment Length: 13 weeks S hift: Nights Schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, three 12‑hour shifts per week (36 hours) Role Overview Ochsner Health is seeking a Temporary Emergency Room Registered Nurse to support the Emergency Services department. This role provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced ER environment and contributes to a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team. Minimum Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency or acute‑care setting Required Certifications Active RN license in state of practice BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) CPI Certification (renewed every 12 months) Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area Key Responsibilities Deliver patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safe and effective clinical practice Assess patient and family learning needs; implement appropriate education strategies Communicate clearly and delegate tasks appropriately within the nursing team Serve as a collaborative leader within the interdisciplinary care team Use clinical data and evidence‑based practices to support improved patient outcomes Promote patient satisfaction and contribute to a positive team culture Adapt care delivery to meet the needs of diverse patient populations Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
