Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable. Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications. Licensure: Active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.
