RN Maternal Child Unit (FT 7p-7a) JOB SUMMARY: Provides professional nursing care through the assessment, treatment, and education of patients in accordance with physician’s treatment plans. **Must train to be able to work in every Dept. on 3rd floor including OB, Nursery, Peds, and Post-partum. SCHEDULE: Full Time with benefits Night Shift 7pm-7am, (3) 12 hour shifts per week MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Nursing EXPERIENCE: Maternal Child experience preferred LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Current Registered Nurse License. BLS within 90 days of hire required. ACLS required within one year of employment. NRP and PALS certifications must be obtained within two years of employment on the unit. EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Patient therapeutic equipment/machines or their reasonable accommodation. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of appropriate patient population growth and development.
