Overview Title:RN Medical SurgicalLocation:Utica, NYShift:3 x 12 hlur NightsDuration:13 weeksTravel pay:$2300 - $2500/week Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.Administer medications and injections accurately following aseptic techniques and established protocols.Monitor patients' conditions closely, managing acute pain, airway management, ventilator support, and other critical care needs as appropriate.Perform wound suturing, catheterization, phlebotomy, and specimen collection with precision and adherence to infection control standards.Experience Candidates should possess a valid RN license with demonstrated experience in medical-surgical units is essential.Additional preferred qualifications include:Experience working with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner.Proficiency in advanced nursing procedures like IV infusion, tube feeding management, ostomy care, and ventilator support.Background in acute care environments including trauma medicine or post-operative recovery settings.Knowledge of infection control practices aligned with NCQA standards.Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those requiring memory or dementia care.Job Types:Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary Pay:$2,300.00 - $2,500.00 per week Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Experience:Medical-surgical:2 years (Required) License/Certification:ACLS Certification (Required) BLS Certification (Required) Work Location:On the road.
